Terrible Quality - Steer Clear!
I was so excited to finally try Dansk pots - I purchased a three-set of pastel colours! They arrived and I was smitten. They're quite pretty. But, that is where it ends.
Within a month of light use (primarily making oatmeal) our 2 quart saucepan ended up with two black spots at the bottom where the enamel had worn off. I promptly contacted customer service and all they offered was a discount off purchasing a new one. Our butter warmer and 4 quart saucepan - which at that point had been used quite sparingly - both had small chips in the enamel around the top. I can only imagine this is from placing the lid on top?! A simple task that should never wear the enamel off the top of a pan.
It's quite clear that these are weak pots - the enamel cannot seem to withstand anything. We don't have metal utensils, only wood and silicone. We have cast iron pans for high heat cooking. We take care to wash by hand and we only stack our pots with their lids. We own two Le Creusets and have for over 10 years and there is not a nick on them. This speaks volumes to the fragility of Dansk pots.
I urge you to not purchase these. From the reviews I read, when I look back over them on the internet, all anyone talks about is how pretty they are, but not how sturdy or functional they are.
I'm sorry - I wish they could have been great, because I love the look, but they are 100% not worth it.
